❓ FAQ

1. What is the purpose of this Japanese address generator?
This tool is primarily designed for software development, international e-commerce form validation, localized UI testing, and privacy protection. It rapidly generates formatted, compliant Japanese addresses for testing.
2. Are the generated Japanese addresses real and legal?
The generated addresses are simulated test data. While administrative divisions, postal codes, and area codes are realistic and mathematically aligned, the specific blocks, street numbers, and names are randomized and do not exist in the physical world.
3. Do the postal codes accurately match the selected cities?
Yes. Our dataset strictly adheres to the actual Japan Post administrative division directory. The generated 7-digit postal codes are fully mapped and matched to the selected prefecture and city, ensuring 100% syntactic validation.
4. What is Furigana (フリガナ)?
In Japan, Kanji names and addresses can have multiple pronunciations depending on context. Consequently, most Japanese forms require "Furigana" (usually written in Katakana) to denote the reading. This generator automatically outputs matching Furigana along with Kanji.
5. What is the format of the generated phone numbers?
Generated phone numbers map correct Japanese area codes (e.g., Tokyo 03, Osaka 06), local exchanges, and subscriber numbers, formatted as landlines (0X-XXXX-XXXX) or mobile networks (080/090/070-XXXX-XXXX) compliant with Japanese telecom standards.
6. Is my personal privacy secure using this tool?
Absolutely. This generator operates entirely client-side within your browser. There is no backend database or logging server. Your generated profiles and testing data never leave your local device.
7. What data export formats are supported?
The generator supports single address generation, bulk generation (up to 100 entries), one-click clipboard copying, and exporting directly into highly structured CSV or JSON files for easy batch automation.
8. Can the generated addresses be used for actual shipping?
No. Since block numbers, street addresses, and recipient names are simulated, they cannot receive mail or packages. Please do not use them for real-world transactions, logistics, or delivery purposes.
